FORTUNE FAVORS GREAT TASTE
Join us in celebrating the Year of the Snake with special limited-edition packaging art from renowned tattoo artist Tokyo Hiro. This is the first time in Sapporo’s proud 148-year history that the iconic 22oz steel can will feature custom art from a collaborative creator.
YEAR OF THE SNAKE
2025’s Wood Snake is associated with being cool-headed, creative, thoughtful and wise. The two snakes circling the packaging with respective closed and open mouths symbolize the end of an old year and the beginning of the new, while the eight vibrant peonies flowers represent good luck.
ABOUT THE ARTIST: TOKYO HIRO
As a baseball obsessed teenager in Japan, Tokyo Hiro’s life took an unexpected turn when he fell in love with punk rock. He followed his passion to California, began an apprenticeship at Bob Robert’s Spotlight Tattoo in Los Angeles, and eventually became a sought-after tattoo artist. Decades later, his artistic and design talents are called upon by big names in music and sports alike. He’s the embodiment of Sapporo’s unique “East meets West” legacy.
